Supporting Our Work
| We are working as full time volunteers with the humanitarian
organisation Crossroads International (www.crossroads.org.hk) and the
associated project, Global Hand (www.globalhand.org). We have had a few requests for a page with our support details to be on this website. We don't earn a salary here in Hong Kong and nor do any of our co-workers. Instead, friends in Sydney and around the world sponsor us to work here, because they believe in what we're doing. Some give us a regular amount each month, others like to surprise us with one-off amounts every now and then. We are incredibly grateful to our supporters, without whom we couldn't actually stay in Hong Kong. A huge thank-you to all of you! NEWSFLASH - We are currently urgently looking for new people (families, individuals or groups) to join our 'team' of regular supporters. This is due to a few reasons. Firstly, we have have a couple of large donors finish their support commitment to our family. Secondly, with a new baby coming in October and with Alex starting preschool, our expenses will increase. Thirdly, we are moving to a larger apartment in the same complex, to accommodate our growing family. CAN YOU HELP? - If you would like to sponsor our family to work with Crossroads and Global Hand, we would love to hear from you. Perhaps you've always wanted to do overseas volunteer work, but are locked into your responsibilities back home. Many of our supporters say that giving to a family at Crossroads like us, is a way of participating in such work, in a way that is realistic and possible for how their lives work right now. Email adelaidegow@hotmail.com or mattgow@gmail.com if you are interested in becoming a sponsor. |

Letters, emails and packages are always enjoyed! It means a lot to us to know that our friends and family back in Sydney are thinking of us, reading our newsletters and corresponding. Click on the 'contact' link to find out how you can get in touch.Get Creative!
Sometimes the biggest blessings are things we'd never think to ask for, like a magazine subscription given to us by some great friends, an 'aid package' of little goodies from a sister, money given especially for a night out, or a surprise package of coffee beans in the mail! Random small gestures like this are very lovely.Financial Support
